Hallo and WELCOME everyone to my old, dear travel blog! I made it during my life changing travels through India and Australia in 2013/14.
Those travels that taught me again and again what it means to live in the moment and surrender to whatever comes my way. Those travels that let me understand what it means to be truly loved. That made yoga and meditation part of my daily life. That made me start to write children stories. And realise where I truly want to be at home.

If you are still wondering if you should do this trip you've been longing to do for so long. Stop wondering and DO IT.

Pangong lake

134km of clear, icy cold water, shimmering in different shades of blue and purple, surrounded by snow covered peaks in 4350m height. Most amazing Pangong lake.

A Dalai Lama teaching

What a treat to be able to see his holiness and hear his teaching as well as see everyone united in excitement and deep respect. I'm just greatful.

Ladakh's monasteries and nunneries

Breath taking views, amazingly old, intense paintings and ceremonies that make you feel the calm inside. Buddhism is omnipresent in Ladakh not only through the monks and nuns you see quite frequently in the streets but by the local's view on life and it's challenges. I can only admire and try to do my best to find the same views.

Trekking in Ladakh...

... was blue skies and the wonder of green islands in between mighty mountains for the eyes. Quietness, wind and gurgeling water for the ears. Homemade local foods eaten in ladakhi kitchens busy with family life, for all the senses you could spare. And of course a pass a day for the legs. Happy, happy times, all for the heart.
